Aether HeXXen are “Space Witches” who use interesting tech from a long-dead galaxy-spanning race & interstellar pilot skills to ambush forces of an evil star empire in the 29th century. You are a very special recruit who can use the machines and networks to save humanity & those friendly aliens from slavery or extinction.  Your initial plan was to be a planetary space bus driver, but with the fate of humanity in the balance you need to step up & be a hero for the sake of your growing group of friends & unexpected admirers.
