Gem Beasts

Gem beasts is a creature collector rogue-lite where you play as the leader of your own crystal clan. As the leader you will go on expeditions and become stronger by leveling up, finding items and gaining new abilities. Gather new creatures for your clan by defeating the strongest gembeast in each area. 

Go on expeditions and fight other gembeasts who inhabit the different areas. Be careful as enemies have different attack patterns and use elemental attacks, that you might be weak against. 

Choose which mini boss to fight, and defeat them to gain their ability for your run. It's therefore important to know which abilities synergize well with your current build. 

At your base camp, you can assign your core clan members to activate powerful buffs. This is also where you choose which of your gembeasts you want to play as and where you can talk and interact with your other clan members.

FEATURES

• There are a total of 23 playable creatures, each with their own unique ability and stats.  

• Evolve your creatures, to gain even better stats and unlock their secondary ability! There is a total of 17 evolutions in the game.

• Select your core clan members and gain different buffs depending on the creature element and trait combinations. 

• Play either the easy expedition, to gather more creatures in your hub, or the harder expeditions to get rare loot and creatures. 

• During expeditions you can fuse two primary abilities to create a new unique ability. Use this system to your advantage to gain the upper hand against the harder bosses.

• Unlock expeditions for different biomes and weather conditions each with their own variety of creatures. 

• Find unique geodes (items) on your expedition which you can bring back to permanently unlock them and use for future expeditions.

• Discover the status effects of the 7 elements: Fire, Water, Grass, Ice, Thunder, Dark, Light. Gain crystal powers during expeditions that might alter or introduce interactions between elements.

• Collect shiny versions of each gembeast.

• See your base getting filled up with the gembeasts that join your clan.
