Here Satrapo pursues R., a phantom shaped by discordant stories, navigating eccentric figures, erratic prophecies and above all, a city built on lies.

Greetings from El Rey is a paranoid tale about desire, always shifting and reshaping the protagonist’s point of view. It is a psychedelic noir questioning the very possibility of meaning and what it costs to keep looking for it.
