When a strange extraterrestrial organism fell from the sky, it appeared like a spined worm—parasite-like,It could invade the human body through the nose and take full control of a person’s actions.

In the early days, only a small portion of the population was infected, but it spread rapidly like a virus. Those who were taken over were forced to harm others. The government tried to contain the situation by declaring a state of emergency and deploying officers and military forces to suppress the threat, but it was already too late. Within just a few weeks, more than 90% of the nation’s population had been overtaken by the creature.

Society nearly collapsed. Order and law vanished. The remaining survivors had to hide carefully, because being possessed meant losing their humanity completely. They were forced to fight to preserve whatever remained of their human selves.
