Northbound

PRESENTATION

Northbound is a 2D fantasy old-school RPG in the vein of Vagrant Hearts and the old classics.

Northbound follows Theran, a hardened Dunereaver who hunts the monstrous Sand Spawns who are both fierceless enemies and the source of food and water in the desert. For generations, travelers have whispered of the North—a land beyond the endless dunes, said to hold answers, riches, or perhaps salvation. In a world where the desert itself is sick with a creeping plague, Theran sets his eyes northward, drawn by myth, desperation, and a promise of discovery. His journey will pit him against merciless wastes, forgotten ruins, and secrets buried in sand and blood.

To reach the North is to chase a dream, but in dreams lie both peril and truth.
