The Mission:

The crew of the airship Nautiflyus is on a desperate mission to save the city of Cali from a deadly epidemic using the mystical power of the Green Pearl. When disaster strikes, they crash atop a dark tower deep within the Forbidden Zone. It is up to you to restore the ship, survive the dangers below, and complete your mission.

Play Your Way:

Choose from 9 unique characters, each with their own personality and defining trait. Pair your character with a variety of loadouts to create your preferred playstyle, whether that means close-range melee, stealth, exploration, magic, or a focus on elemental damage. Your choices shape the abilities, spells, items and damage types you begin with while also influencing the upgrades you will discover as you descend the tower.

Explore the Tower:

Journey through 7 handcrafted levels filled with secrets, enemies, hazards and puzzles. Use evasive rolls, melee strikes, ranged weapons and equipment to survive intense third-person combat. Swap between 5 ammo types: Blaster, Flamer, Zapper, Thumper and the new Laser. Combine them individually with one of the 5 damage types: Light, Fire, Ionic, Fusion and the new Plasma to exploit enemy weaknesses. Unlock and wield over 30 spells across multiple elemental schools, allowing you to build powerful offensive combinations and layered defensive strategies that complement your chosen abilities.

Remake Enhancements:

• Enhanced Visuals and Audio: Modern lighting, shadows, ambient occlusion, improved environmental details, 3D directional audio and updated sound effects.

• Quality of Life Improvements: Animation blending, more responsive actions, improved menus, bug fixes, smoother gameplay and a new recovery save option.

• Modernized Controls: Full directional movement and camera rotation, a dedicated reload button, melee button and quick swapping for both equipment and ammo types.

• HUD & Favourites Menu: A new 8 slot radial menu for fast access to spells and items that replaces the old 4 slot spell exclusive menu. Heads up display tweaks that scale correctly with ultra/widescreen monitors along with some new additions for a better user experience.

• New Stance System and Expanded Evasion: Switch stance, dive, move while prone and rolling in all directions. These options create more fluid exploration and more dynamic combat.

• Expanded Combat Systems: A new Laser ammo type and a new Plasma damage type. Every ammo type can now convert its damage type along with some new upgrades to deepen build variety. Enemies now have mana and can cast their own spells.

• Overhauled Characters and Progression: Flexible starting loadouts, unique character traits, a new levelling system and 7 skill trees: Essence, Arcane, Blaster, Flamer, Zapper, Thumper, and Laser. These provide deeper progression and long-term replayability. 

• Reworked Levels: New sectors, secrets, items and enemy variations. Several levels now feature improved flow while preserving their iconic layouts.

• Restored Content: The remake is based on the most complete version of the game, the PlayStation release. It also brings back content introduced or cut from the PC and unreleased N64 version, including unused sector music, post-level stat screens and a previously exclusive character.
