Oscillia : The Shattered Planet

Stuck between multiple realities, Arlo must find a way to free himself from the clutches of the planet Oscillia.

To do so, he will have to traverse alternate versions of history, fight to escape the control of higher entities, connect key events linked to each species, and ultimately escape.

This world is unstable and realities intertwine!

In this retro sci-fi Metroidvania game, you explore a constantly changing planet shaped by fractured realities and opposing forces. Oscillia is no longer a single world, but several versions of the same planet, each altered by different events, victories, or failures of the forces at play.

As a player, you can switch between realities, which changes the world in real time: battles are altered, enemies evolve, paths open up or collapse, stuck objects become accessible... Manipulate reality to your advantage!

An original sci-fi universe

The planet Oscillia was once the scene of genetic experiments that were as immoral as they were random. The Verraks, a native species, were denatured in order to serve a larger project.

After their rebellion, some Verrak clans appropriated some of the knowledge of their former oppressors. They can create warriors capable of fiercely protecting their territory, at the expense of some collateral damage.

It is this knowledge that the Vorrhyns, a colonialist and supremacist species, covet today in their quest for ever more resources and power. Despite their obvious technological superiority, their plan is not going as expected: a mysterious force still seems to be at work on Oscillia.

Evolving gameplay

Gather materials, acquire indigenous technologies, and craft increasingly powerful equipment according to your preferences. Recruit allies who will help you stay alive by granting you various bonuses during your explorations.

Fight with weapons inspired by steampunk and sci-fi universes, which you'll wield using a twin-stick shooter system (keyboard/mouse compatible). Manage your positioning based on your weapon's range, power, and firing style. Keep an eye on your magazines so you don't find yourself temporarily vulnerable during combat.

Unlock new movement mechanics and discover new ways to play depending on your character's equipment.

And don't forget, if things go wrong, another reality is surely accessible!
