Take control of the infamous Cricket, an ex-criminal now working on the side of the law. After losing his legs in the war, the Cricket was equipped with a pair of mechanical legs that give him the ability to dash, hence the nickname.

His knowledge and experience, coupled with the weapons at his disposal, make him a deadly enemy for the gangs scattered across New Lyon, though his motives remain unknown.

It has been 15 years since the end of the Great War, when the US government publicly announced the discovery of magic. Thanks to it, a new resource began to spread across the country, reshaping it overnight: Powerfuels.

New Lyon, home city of magic’s "inventor," found itself at the center of an industrial boom that transformed the United States into an economic powerhouse, filling the city with factories and commerce.

Yet this age of prosperity came with its own shadows, as crime began to rise in the suburban areas of the country’s major cities, and New Lyon was no exception. Now, in the beating heart of the new world, rumors of a conspiracy have begun to surface.
