Shipping and Handling

Shipping & Handling is a cooperative multiplayer sandbox delivery game about moving through hostile environments while keeping a shared payload from damage until delivered!

You and your crew take on delivery runs across strange, dangerous spaces, dealing with terrain hazards, limited resources, and the chaos that comes from coordinating as a team. Stay alive and keep the delivery intact.

Core Gameplay

Players form a delivery crew and are tasked with delivering lost packages and transporting them to extraction points across large, hostile environments.

• Scout routes and terrain

• Collect cargo with varying sizes and weights

• Transport cargo using silly tools, mounts, and physics-based interactions

• Deal with hazards, enemies, and obstacles in clever and unique ways

• Deliver successfully to earn rewards and unlock progression

• Recover from failure when cargo is dropped, damaged, or lost

Each delivery can be completed multiple ways, but poor coordination or risky shortcuts can result in lost cargo and failed runs.

Online Multiplayer Co-op

• Online cooperative multiplayer

• Players coordinate movement, timing, and tool usage

• Mistakes affect the entire team and create cascading problems

• Solo play is possible, but the game is designed around emergent multiplayer situations

Traversal & Physics Systems

• Physics-based balancing system

• Vertical traversal including climbing, jumping, and sliding

• Dynamic hazards such as unstable ground, environmental obstacles, hostile wildlife, and enemy robots attempting to steal deliveries

• Cargo physically interacts with the world and players

Movement is intentionally physical and imperfect, creating unpredictable and often hilarious outcomes

Tools, Gear, and Mounts

• Equip specialized tools to move cargo and navigate terrain

• Deploy gadgets to create new paths and support your crew, including:

  • Ladders

  • Bridges

  • Grappling hooks

  • Healing hot tubs

  • Energy Drink Grenades 

  • And more!

• Use mounts to assist with transport; mounts must be fed and cared for, and may need to be abandoned if situations worsen

• Earn currency from successful deliveries

What Makes Shipping & Handling Unique

Shipping & Handling focuses on the act of co-op navigation through complex environments and active combat zones while keeping the payload safe from damage or theft.

The challenge comes from coordination, physical interaction, and route choice, creating unpredictable and memorable situations!

Shipping & Handling is being developed by a small independent team with experience working on large-scale multiplayer games, including developers who previously worked on Rec Room.

The game is currently in active development. Features, content, and scope may change as development continues.
