World Layers is a psychological horror game where reality fractures, trust decays, and every step forward may be your last.

You play as Yuki, a 17-year-old transfer student who arrives in the quiet city of Solitel. A normal looking small city that feels wrong in ways you can’t explain. What begins as an ordinary life quickly collapses into something far more disturbing when you and your friends are dragged into a world that should not exist.

There is no clear path back. Your only choice is to go deeper...

DESCEND

Beneath Solitel lies something strange, something terrifying.

Each descent pulls you further from reality and closer to something unknown. The deeper you go, the more the world changes and the less it wants to let you leave.

You will encounter things that speak, things that remember… and things that shouldn’t be alive at all.

Some may guide you, other may follow you, and some... may already know you better than you do.

TRUST NO ONE

Not everything that looks human is safe. Not everything that helps you is honest. But only you can decide who you trust...

Conversations matter. Every interaction can shape what comes next, either subtly, or permanently. A single decision may echo long after you’ve forgotten making it.

And sometimes… the worst mistakes feel like the right choices.

SURVIVE

When something finds you, there is no warning.

You can fight, you can hide, or... you can run hoping it’s enough.

Enemies are unpredictable. Some will wait. Some will chase. Some will pretend.

And some will enjoy it.

Your courage decides the outcome, and your cowardice will lead you to your end.

YOUR CHOICES FOLLOW YOU

This is not just a descent through broken worlds, but a descent through your decisions.

Every choice leaves a mark. Some are immediate. Others wait for you to lower your defences.

Paths shift. Outcomes change. What you say, who you trust, and what you choose to do will shape what unfolds and what refuses to stay buried.
