Game Description

Oh no! The king gave a terrible speech and offended just about everyone in the kingdom, now they're coming for his head! But you are sworn to defend him. Things are about to get difficult.

Defense of the Offensive King is a tower defense game with some "roguelite" elements, set in a medieval fantasy world during an ongoing rebellion. The elves, dwarves, orcs, and other fantasy races that were previously part of the kingdom have become so upset that they are now trying to kill their former ruler. You are tasked with venturing into the former territories of the kingdom, to build and defend mighty castles in order to suppress the rebellion in each land, and re-establish the king's reign.

Defend the King!

Establish a central keep, build a long and winding path of walls using "tetromino" pieces, then defend it with archers, towers, elemental mages, and other units and structures to survive wave after wave of attacking enemy forces. Each region has its own environment and differs in the types of enemies you will encounter, so you must adapt to their strengths and weaknesses, and plan your strategy wisely if you want to have any hope of surviving.

Endless Replayability

Procedurally generated maps and enemy waves, and randomized order of upgrades and available technologies ensure a different experience every time. Roguelite unlocks and meta-progression between runs allow for persistent progress, even when you don't quite achieve victory.
