Eye of the Erime

This place is not meant for you. It certainly wasn’t meant for humans. The shapes, the structures, the paths, the traces of creatures gone for millennia. But where some would be terrified by this strange unfamiliarity, you are intrigued. Unfortunately, so was your mother, an archeologist who went missing in these same caves. Equipped with only your wits and a modified camera, follow in her footsteps to explore the ancient ruins of a civilization torn asunder by phenomena they did not understand. Wandering past objects phasing into and out of existence, you wonder; will you discover what led to the downfall of these people, or will your mother succumb to the same fate?

Eye of the Erime is a first-person puzzle game where you use a camera to take photos of flowers to manipulate objects temporally and spatially. Traverse a unique underground settlement, solve puzzles, find a way to save your mother, and escape the caves.

• Wield your camera as a powerful tool: Take photos of budded flowers to cause them to entangle objects they're embedded in. When they bloom, they affect these objects in various ways.

• Discover the technologies of a dead civilization: The Erime were a subterranean society that lived long before humans. Their technologies are both foreign, yet eerily similar to modernity. Explore their decrepit caves and uncover the cause of their demise.

• Solve puzzles through experimentation: Explore puzzle spaces and engage with the elements the Erime left behind. There's more than one solution to the challenges presented to you. Learn about and gain mastery over entanglement and its accompanying mechanisms.

• Investigate the disappearance of your mother: After unearthing the ruins of the Erime civilization lost many millennia ago, World renown archeologist Dr. Peggy Sloan disappeared. Alongside IRIS, her robotic assistant, follow in her footsteps to discover her fate.
