Game Description

“When a person dies, the lamp goes out, and the past cannot be retrieved.
But in the River of Forgetting, obsession has weight.”

Overview

Ferryman of Wangchuan: River of Delusion is a first-person narrative driving simulation, about 20 minutes long.
In the world after death, you steer a small boat across the River of Forgetting, tasked with ferrying a General to the far shore.

As the journey unfolds, you witness a brutal exchange of equivalents: to resurrect the one he loved, he paid with a thousand souls—and with his own humanity.

Gameplay

  • Immersive Boat Handling — Control acceleration, braking, and steering with the keyboard.

  • Light & Memory — Hold the left mouse button to focus your lantern, piercing the fog to reveal Memory Objects hidden along the river.

Multiple Endings

The destination of a ferryman is not always salvation.

  • Cycle — Carrying irreparable regret and blood-soaked sin, you fall into an endless loop of “redemption.”

  • Release — Admit the crime, cut the chain of evil causality, and embrace true oblivion—followed by rebirth.
