Hurricane Heroes

Hurricane Heroes is a 3-act interactive narrative experience that places players in the shoes of three critical roles as a storm approaches and impacts the coast of Florida.

• Act 1: Broadcast meteorologist convincing viewers to evacuate before a hurricane hits

• Act 2: Weather science officer collecting valuable data from inside the storm

• Act 3: Emergency rescue support in the wake of the hurricane’s destruction

The game is designed for Introduction to Meteorology students and aligns with course materials, but it can be played by anyone interested in learning more about hurricanes and careers related to meteorology. Some creative liberties taken.
