Game Description

I Want To Go Down(IWTDG) is a game about guiding a boy standing on a cloud, carefully making his way down.

Your task is simple: make it down without falling.

And that simplicity might be what keeps you here the longest.

This game wasn’t made to kill you.

It was made to quietly break your impatience, your pride, and that certainty of “this time I’ve got it.”

There is no kind path here, and no deal like “I’ll save you here.”

As you descend, you will learn.

-how to stop

-how to move slowly

-what happens when you get greedy

-and… how quickly one slip can send life back to the beginning

You’ll find yourself saying, often:

“Why did I do that?”

At the top (…no, the bottom), there’s a reward waiting.

I won’t tell you what it is.

But I can promise this: when you arrive, you’ll know.

Features

-One goal: bring the boy down from the clouds

-A careful, descent-based game where mistakes send you back

-Success isn’t about reflexes, but patience and restraint

Playtime

-10 minutes to ∞ hours

Some will reach the bottom quickly, and some will say “I’m almost there” dozens of times.

Warning

This game is quiet.

You might not be.

I would like to express my gratitude to Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy and Jump King for the inspiration that made this game possible.
