Game Description

Light Streams In is a story driven deck-building RPG where you collect cards to charm, intimidate, or deceive remarkable characters in an effort to reveal their secrets and uncover what really happened last night. Choices matter as you make decisions to repair relationships or cut ties with the life you know.

Talk With Friends, Old and New

There are many conversations to be had as you piece together your night. Seek out friends to find answers -- but you may find they are not too happy to hear from you. Branching choices and stat-locked dialogue keep conversations fresh and impactful.

Collect Cards to expand your voice

Cards are your voice -- they provide actions you can use in conversations to influence others. They also provide advantages, which boost your stats, provide defense, or even alter the rules of conversation. Cards are collected throughout your journey -- you'll need to balance your deck to give yourself the voice you want to play with. Build a deck heavy in Deceit and Intimidation, favor Charm and Empathy, or maybe find your voice somewhere in the middle.

Tell Your Story

As you have conversation, you'll collect Memories and Story Cards -- fragments of the story of your night. You'll have to piece these together to form a cohesive story. You decide what your truth will be -- but be careful -- your truth will play a role in the climax of your story.

Choices Matter

Be careful how your play your cards -- your friends will remember whether you approached them with Empathy -- or Deceit. The way you play, and interact with others, will contribute to the story you are writing.
