Game Description

Game Introduction

"off-target" is a fast-paced and enjoyable side-scrolling shooting game where players take on the role of an enhanced human soldier, fighting their way through various unmanned machines and modified creatures to become a disruptive force in the world.

The game features a variety of upgraded weapons, various throwable items, different upgrade modifiers, a large number of regular enemies, and multi-stage boss battles.

Background settings

In the near future, as drones and AI mature, our steel has gained willpower. After a certain island nation provokes us again, we cease our warnings and, within six months, plant our flag in its capital, astonishing the world. We welcome friends with open arms, but we meet wolves with guns. Thus, conflicts are concealed, a new world order is established, and a new era of development begins.

With breakthroughs in room-temperature superconductivity, controlled nuclear fusion, and solid-state batteries, and with near-limitless energy resources, large electromagnetic catapults, giant nuclear fusion space stations, and lunar development bases are successively built, bringing us within reach of the universe.

That day, the sun rises as usual, but the drones malfunction, communication networks collapse, and all forces are forced to fight independently, annihilated one by one; no nation escapes. We fight back fiercely, but less than one in ten survives.

Decades later, the story begins here.
