Oppidum: Guardian of the Hill is an open-world survival game inspired by Celtic history and the era of ancient oppida, where the player takes on the role of a warrior whose goal is to conquer the mountain peak and uncover the secrets hidden behind it.

Travel across the world and complete quests from characters such as Paul Bhala and other inhabitants of the land. Help them, gain experience, and gradually become the strongest Celt capable of surviving even the harshest conditions.

Explore a vast open world filled with dangerous wildlife, hostile tribes, and hidden mysteries. Each area offers new challenges, resources, and enemies that will test your ability to survive.

The player progresses through an experience (XP) system gained by defeating enemies and completing quests. As you level up, you can improve your character and adapt abilities to your preferred playstyle—whether you favor melee combat, archery, or a balanced approach.

Gather resources from the environment and use them to craft tools, weapons, and equipment. The crafting system allows you to prepare for increasingly difficult battles and challenges.

Build and expand your own oppidum—a fortified settlement that serves as the center of your tribe. Construct defensive structures, manage resources, and protect your people from enemy attacks.

The combat system is inspired by “souls-like” games, requiring precise timing, dodging, and strategic thinking. Use swords, bows, and other weapons to survive encounters with enemies and powerful opponents.

The game features a dynamic day and night cycle that significantly affects gameplay. During the day, you can explore more safely, complete quests, and trade, while at night stronger enemies emerge, making survival far more challenging.

Raid enemy oppida, expand your territory, and defend your settlement against incoming attacks. Gradually conquer the mountain peak and uncover the truth hidden behind it.
