Game Description

Peak or Die

Peak or Die is a narrative-driven survival game about climbing a deadly mountain, where every decision comes at a cost. You lead a team of adventurers step by step toward the summit, facing moral dilemmas, random events, and constant resource scarcity.
Oxygen, food, and team morale are limited. Mistakes accumulate. And the mountain does not forgive weakness.

This is a game at the intersection of a visual novel and resource management, where the story unfolds through choice, and survival depends not only on numbers, but on who you lead — and how.

Make Hard Decisions

Every card represents an event, a choice, or a consequence.
Do you help the injured climber or conserve the team’s strength?
Do you take risks to climb faster, or move cautiously and lose precious time?

In Peak or Die, there are no right answers — only consequences.

Manage the Resources That Keep You Alive

  • Oxygen — runs out faster than you expect

  • Food — affects on survival

  • Team morale — a fragile resource that everything depends on

Balance them carefully. Success — or disaster — hangs on it.

Your Team Is More Than Numbers

Each member of the expedition has their own personality, strengths, and weaknesses.
Relationships within the group — conflict, trust, and support — directly affect the climb and the choices available to you.

Every Climb Tells a New Story

Procedural events, different card combinations, and branching decisions create a unique narrative with every attempt.
You may not reach the summit — but your story will still have an ending.
