Game Description

Rayborne

Rayborne is a puzzle game built around a complex and dynamic laser-based system that combines physics and real-time ray tracing. Bend, merge, split, and manipulate laser beams in dozens of different ways to solve a wide range of unique puzzles.

A New Kind of Laser Puzzle

Rayborne reimagines traditional laser puzzles by blending classic mechanics with modern, physics-based interactions. Every beam reacts to its environment, becoming part of a larger, interconnected system.

The game features exclusively hand-crafted levels that reward observation and experimentation. Each stage builds upon previously introduced ideas, gradually expanding the depth of the mechanics while introducing new interactions.

Ray Tracing as Gameplay

Ray tracing isn’t just a visual upgrade — it’s a core gameplay mechanic. Light behavior is simulated in real time, enabling puzzles based on real-time reflections and spatial logic, pushing your spatial reasoning to the limit.

Shape the Light

Take full control of laser beams:

  • Redirect and guide lasers through complex, multi-layered spaces

  • Reflect beams off dynamic mirrors to reach hard-to-access targets

  • Split beams using prisms, mix colors, and use environmental elements to create new solutions

  • Light is not just something you aim — it’s something you compose

A Facility Full of Secrets

Step into a sterile research complex where the line between humanity and artificial intelligence has almost vanished. Before long, you’ll realize you’re not alone. Disturbing, chaotic chalk drawings cover the pristine laboratory walls, and behind frosted glass you’ll glimpse silent figures carefully observing your every move. Nothing here is accidental — and each solved puzzle brings you closer to answering one unsettling question: who — or what — are you, really?
