Game Description

Still Warm is a cozy horror cooking game where you take over the morning shift of a lángos stand in Budapest for a week. Meet and serve the regulars, learn about their routine and lives and watch as one by one they stop coming back in this ~2.5 hour psychological mystery experience.

Prepare authentic Hungarian lángos. Knead and fry the dough, apply the toppings, wrap it, hand it through the shutter. Grab a drink for them while you're at it. Orango? Mulled Wine? Lemon Tea? Each regular has their preferences. Be careful though. No one likes cold lángos.

Accept orders through the phone, prepare them and hand the order over to the friendly delivery guy, Lajos.

Budapest. 5 in the morning. One week.

Your cousin Bence is on vacation and needs someone to run his lángos stand while he's away. It's simple work. Open the shutter at five in the morning, fry the dough, serve the regulars, clean and close up at six. Easy money.

The regulars are simple folk. They live in the apartment building across the stand and they've been coming here for years. They become familiar faces fast. You look forward to seeing them.

Then one morning, someone doesn't show up.

The newspaper reports a body near the riverside. Then another. The people who still come to your window are frightened, whispering, watching each other with sideways glances. The radio mentions a serial killer on the run from Debrecen. You start receiving notes. Mysterious phone calls. Your migraine acting up.

The regulars have their suspicions. So do you.

Seven days. Fresh, delicious lángos. A building on edge. The oil in the fryer is still warm.
