Game Description
Tamitos: Tale of Understanding is a story-driven adventure that invites players to experience the world through two unique perspectives, one neurotypical and one autistic. Inspired by real-life experiences, the game explores emotions, communication, and empathy through a magical world designed to reflect the beauty and challenges of autism.
You follow two sisters who share a powerful bond. One experiences the world in a familiar way, while the other sees, hears, and feels things differently. One evening, they enter the world of Tamitos, a vibrant and emotional universe filled with small frog-like creatures. These Tamitos represent different autistic emotions such as sensory overload, anxiety, focus, joy, calm, and confusion. Each creature you encounter reflects a feeling and tells its own story.
Gameplay focuses on exploration, puzzles, and emotional storytelling. Players switch between both characters, seeing the same environment through two different perspectives. What may seem simple from one point of view can feel overwhelming or confusing from another. This creates meaningful gameplay where understanding both perspectives is the key to progressing.
As you explore the world, you help and rescue Tamitos creatures, restoring balance and harmony to their environments. Each rescued Tamitos brings new abilities, opens new paths, and reveals deeper layers of the story. The journey becomes not only about solving puzzles, but about understanding emotions, building empathy, and discovering the strength of connection.
Designed as a family-friendly experience, Tamitos: Tale of Understanding blends emotional storytelling with accessible gameplay, colorful worlds, and memorable characters.
More than just a game, Tamitos is a journey about understanding differences, seeing the world through new eyes, and discovering that empathy can bring us closer together.
