Game Description

“Everyone has a ‘Handover Document’—it’s only a matter of time. You sign for them today; who signs for you tomorrow?”

A Rehearsal for the End

In this rain-soaked old city, you’ve taken a job no one else wants: a mortician. Your routine revolves around a cold workbench—setting up mourning halls, giving the "guests" their final bit of dignity. People call this trade eerie, but the real terror isn't the dead; it's the realization that no one escapes the script.

The Ritual is the Appetizer; Fate is the Main Course:

  • Not a Process, But a Final Dignity: Your task is to wash away worldly ties, stitch the skin, and dress the deceased. As you go through the daily grind of your schedule, the chill of "one day, I’ll be lying here too" becomes the one procedure you can’t skip. Mortuary work is a ritual. Through these few tasks, you must touch the cold reality of death. Staring at the workbench, the feeling that this is your own future hits harder than any jump-scare.

  • Halls for the Living, Truths for the Dead: The mourning hall is for the living, but the handover slips are for the dead. In this city of blurred eras, every body that passes through your hands seems tied to the same unseen, crimson thread. You think you’re just a spectator getting paid, but you’ve been part of the play all along.

Borrowed Life Must Be Repaid:

  • “Soul-Returning”: It’s Not a Hallucination, It’s a Debt: When you touch the deceased, you are dragged into their final moments. It’s more than memory retrieval; it’s a reckoning. You must find what they "owe" in those twisted visions, because every unpaid debt eventually finds its way back to you.

  • The Cycle of Five: All the victims are linked to an ancient curse—five lives, different ways to die, one massive debt. As you handle one "guest" after another, you’ll realize the thread of fate is tied around your own wrist.

  • The Final Handover: A Familiar Name: This is more than a simulator. In the end, when you're forced to verify the final document, you'll find a name that looks terrifyingly familiar. At that cold workbench, you will face the most brutal part of the ritual: dissecting the past to see where the cycle truly ends—and who it has been pointing to all along.

The door is open. Step inside. This isn't just a game; it's a debt coming to collect its owner. And you have nowhere to hide.

Developer's Note

This game is a solo project in early development. While still a work in progress, it is a labor of love exploring the themes of fate and our final journey. Thank you for being part of this rehearsal for the inevitable.
