Game Description
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗮𝘁𝗵 is an interactive narrative RPG where every choice carves a different path through a world of medieval power, faith, and betrayal.
𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲
You are Karl von Aiden, born into a noble family in a land torn between warring powers and ancient loyalties. From childhood to your final hour, every decision you make — whom to trust, whom to defy, what to believe — will shape the man you become and the legacy you leave behind.
𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀. 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀.
Your story spans five chapters of Karl's life, branching into three distinct routes — each revealing different truths about the world and its people. With over 40 attribute gates and dozens of story flags that carry consequences across chapters, no two playthroughs are the same.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀
Deep narrative choices — Your decisions ripple across chapters, unlocking or sealing paths based on your attributes, relationships, and past actions.
Attribute cultivation — Develop Karl's Martial, Scholarly, Faith, Political, and Social abilities. The stats you build determine which challenges you can overcome and which doors remain closed.
Three branching routes — Pursue martial valor, political cunning, or scholarly wisdom. Each route offers unique story arcs, allies, and endings.
Multiple endings — Including 7 distinct bad endings with unique trigger conditions. Your choices have real consequences — not every path leads to survival.
Rich visual presentation — Hand-crafted CG sequences with layered animation, dynamic page effects, and a distinctive leather-bound book interface.
A prequel story — The Iron and the Oath tells the origin story of the von Aiden family, setting the stage for the events of Court of Shadows.
𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗹
Navigate the treacherous politics of noble houses, the rigid hierarchies of the church, and the brutal reality of medieval warfare. Forge alliances, uncover conspiracies, and confront impossible dilemmas where honor and survival rarely align.
Every oath has a price. Every bond can be broken.
