Game Description

A Game Against Death

Death came for you. You challenged him to chess. He accepted.

If you win, you may return to life. If you lose… your soul remains at the table.

Play Against Death

Each night, you make one move. Death answers.

The chessboard is not separate from the world, what you sacrifice in the forest may strengthen your pieces.

What you lose on the board may wound your reality.

Rescue lost pawns in the snow. Trade pieces for warmth or supplies. Decide what is worth sacrificing.

The match lasts 40 moves. Win or lose, it will end.

A World That Watches You

Each day brings something new.

A thief in the dark. A wandering merchant. A stranger offering to buy one of your pieces.

A silent figure standing too close to your fire.

Small decisions pile up. Mercy or cruelty. Sacrifice or greed. Trust or suspicion.

You will not know which choices matter most, until the end.

You can explore the frozen forest, but winter is merciless far from flame.

Stay out too long, and the cold will make its move.

Survive the Cold

By day, you fight the wilderness.

Cut trees. Gather food. Feed the fire. Build and protect your camp.

The air grows sharper. The nights grow longer. Resources grow scarce.

Every action costs something.

This is not endless survival. It is a countdown.
