Playing the CAREER mode of The Racing Journey, you can forge your destiny in motorsport starting from scratch.
Start with a simple rental kart at local tracks, challenging local champions. If you’re skilled enough and manage your budget wisely, you’ll move on to better karts and eventually step into cars.
But in single-seaters, the challenge becomes tougher than ever! You’ll start to make a name for yourself in lower series like the Drive 4™ National Championship, before moving on to where the true champions race: the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS.
Defeat the competition in Drive 3™, Drive 2™, and reach the true peak of motorsport: the Drive 1™ World Championship.
MANAGE YOUR FINANCES
Motorsport isn’t all sunshine and glory, especially if you’re not rich!
No championship will let you race for free, and you’ll need to carefully manage your income and expenses, or risk being left on the sidelines.
But don’t worry: if you’re fast enough on track, SPONSORS will soon come knocking, and you might even be backed by a Drive 1™ DRIVER ACADEMY throughout your career.
MANAGE YOUR STAFF
To go fast on track, you need a strong STAFF behind you.
A great RACE ENGINEER can drastically improve both your performance and your vehicle, giving you the right feedback during races and analyzing your laps before and after sessions.
Having a good MANAGER is also crucial, as they’ll help you secure better contracts with sponsors.
KEEP YOUR VEHICLE IN SHAPE
You don’t want reliability issues in the middle of a race, do you? That’s why it’s important to TUNE your vehicle and check it regularly, replacing worn-out parts and even adding UPGRADES.
AND BE CREATIVE!
Unleash your creativity and CUSTOMIZE your car’s livery however you like. Change colors, pick your favorite patterns, and don’t forget to stick your sponsors’ logos!
And take care of your GARAGE too! You can buy decorations that are not only stylish but also useful. After all, why not buy a nice TV to replay your best overtakes?
