Wundertrench

Wundertrench is a turn-based isometric tactical RPG with roguelike elements, set in Ostvengr, a collapsing militaristic empire consumed by abominations of metal and flesh. Command squads of four in tense, turn-based tactical encounters where positioning, coordination, and sacrifice determine survival.

Recruit and deploy soldiers shaped by Ostvengr’s militant culture and advanced technology. Assemble squads composed of specialized units, and equip them with supplies, experimental implants, and recovered relics scavenged from the abyss.

No two descents are the same.

The Trench reshapes itself constantly, filled with unpredictable events, lethal hazards, and survivors of Ostvengr. Losses are inevitable, and survival often demands difficult decisions about what, or who, is expendable.

The deeper you descend, the greater the rewards become. Rare technologies and resources lie scattered throughout its depths, waiting to be claimed. But the Trench does not release what it holds without resistance, and the longer you stay within it, the more hostile it becomes.

To claim what lies in the depths, you must be willing to risk everything. If your squad fails to extract, they, and everything they carry, will be lost to the Trench.
